Mr. Dolapo Dixon

Dolapo Dixon is an accomplished geoscientist with over 18 years of experience in petroleum exploration, reservoir characterization, subsurface evaluation, geoscience data management, and technical application support within the upstream oil and gas industry. He has worked with major international and indigenous operators, including Chevron (Houston), Chevron Nigeria Limited, Korean National Oil Corporation (KNOC), and Belema Oil Producing Limited, contributing to the evaluation, development, and optimization of hydrocarbon assets across onshore, shallow water, and deepwater environments.

He possesses extensive expertise in seismic interpretation, structural and stratigraphic mapping, petrophysical evaluation, well log analysis, reservoir modelling, prospect generation, reserves estimation, field development studies, and subsurface risk assessment. His experience spans the full asset lifecycle, from exploration and appraisal through development and production support.

Currently serving as Director (Technical Services) at Addish Energy Limited, Mr. Dixon provides specialized support for geoscience and reservoir engineering workflows, including data management, technical software administration, well monitoring, and end-user support for multidisciplinary subsurface teams. His role involves the deployment and management of industry-leading interpretation and reservoir characterization platforms while ensuring efficient workflow integration across technical disciplines.

Throughout his career, he has played key roles in major field evaluation projects, regional studies within the Niger Delta Basin, hydrocarbon prospect generation, reserves assessment, static reservoir modelling, and quality control of geoscience and drilling-related projects. He has also mentored junior professionals and supported organizations in enhancing technical capabilities and operational efficiency.

Mr. Dixon has presented technical papers and participated in international industry conferences, including delivering a presentation on Microbial Enhanced Oil Recovery at the Fleming Gulf Conference in Abu Dhabi, UAE, demonstrating his commitment to knowledge sharing and industry advancement.
