Prof. Lukumon Adeoti

Professor Adeoti is a renowned Professor of Applied Geophysics with over 25 years of impactful experience in teaching, research and consultancy in the oil and gas industry.

He holds a Bachelor of Science degree (B.Sc.) in Applied Physics (Geophysics) from the University of Lagos and a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Applied Geophysics from the University of Benin. He bagged a Ph.D. in Applied Geophysics from the University of Lagos in 2007.

He is a Fellow of the Nigerian Association for Engineering Geology and Environment (NAEGE) and a Fellow of the Institute of Oil and Gas Research and Hydration Studies, among others.

He has consulted for a number of companies in the oil and gas industry such as Chevron, Shell and Exxon Mobil, to mention but a few.

He has devoted time over the years to teaching enhanced oil recovery to improve production in declining hydrocarbon fields. He has also taught and supervised the projects of many oil and gas industry leaders at postgraduate level, significantly contributing to oil and gas exploration and production in Nigeria and beyond.

His areas of expertise include, but are not limited to, well log interpretation, well stability, geophysical survey and interpretation, and geological mapping.

He leads Addish Energy's technical direction across geophysical and geological services. Prof. Adeoti reviews technical reports and provides oversight on Addish Energy's oil and gas engagements.
